A new adrenaline-fuelled off-roading experience has launched which will encourage families to go head to head and finally answer the question of who the better driver is.
Off Road Driver 4x4 experiences are now on sale across 10 UK locations, with dates available from January 2019. Lessons can be booked for 10-17-year olds, adults, groups or families behind the wheel of the latest Mercedes-Benz X-Class 4x4s or iconic Land Rover Defenders. Tuition for the 30 or 60-minute lessons is provided by off-roading experts who are also ADI qualified driving instructors.
For the extreme adventurers, there’s also the opportunity to drive the latest Mercedes-Benz Unimog 4x4, a Pinzgauer 6x6 military vehicle or a WW2 Willys Jeep. All 10 venues offer a combination of deep-water crossings, scary slide slopes, vertiginous ascents and steep brake-free declines, helping drivers conquer a range of off-road skills.
Off Road Driver caters for people with disabilities and additional needs, with dual control and hand control cars suitable for wheelchair users, along with experienced instructors. Groups of up to 60 can also be catered for.
Venues currently available are Belchamp Hall in Sudbury, Suffolk; Duncombe Park in Helmsley, North Yorkshire; Chavenage Estate in Tetbury, Gloucestershire; Dorfold Hall, Nantwich; Great Tew Estate in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire; Henley-in-Arden in Warwickshire; Loseley Park in Guildford, Surrey; West London Shooting School in Northolt; Leighton Hall in Carnforth, Lancashire; and Little Marlow in Buckinghamshire. Experiences start from £49.
