British karting sensation Danny Keirle who has been supported by Money4yourMotors.com throughout 2017 has had a tremendous end to the European season. Firstly, wrapping up the Super One British Championship X30 senior class - adding to last year's Kartmaster GP win. Then Danny astounded the karting world by taking part and dominating the CIK/FIA World OK Championship at his first attempt against the fastest drivers and biggest teams in the world.
This led to an invite for the IAME international finals held at the famous Le Mans venue in France. Despite a poor qualifying which left him starting from grid position 48, Danny proved to be the star of the show by moving through the field in all but one heat (where he was pushed off track finishing with a twisted chassis and damaged bodywork) starting the final race from the 6th row of the grid.
The final was one of the most exciting races ever seen at the iconic French track with Danny firstly disposing of the karts in front of him and then relentlessly hunting down the leading pack, eventually finishing the race in 5th place and just missing out in a photo finish for 4th but receiving a standing ovation from the crowd and sending the commentators wild!
The outcome from all this is that Danny has been offered numerous drives in The Superkart USA Finals to be held in Las Vegas in November. After much deliberation, Dan has decided to stay loyal to Dino Chiesa the man who masterminded the World Championship win in his new venture Kart Republic. This will be the first time that the KR kart has been seen on track and will no doubt receive the bulk of media coverage for the event.
Much thanks from everybody at the Melliosport Racing Academy goes to Pat & the team at Money4yourmotors.com for their continued support
