What would you pay for a 'used' Bugatti Chiron?

We all know that as soon as you drive your car away from the dealership after purchase, the value of your car plummets.
It’s no longer new and it already has an owner.
So you might seem surprised to hear a savvy supercar owner is set to cash in with a £1 million profit on his Bugatti Chiron. The car already has 1000 miles on the clock, but has become the first ‘used’ example to be offered in the UK.
This 261mph supercar has bucked the depreciation trend and climbed in value to £3.6 million. With its list price at £2.5 million – that’s an increase of £1.1 million.
The ‘used’ Bugatti has been customised with a leather and carbon interior and carbon fibre seats. Both customisations are priced up to an eye-watering £69,000 in total.
The car is on sale in Surrey at Romans International, who specialise in supercar dealership. The Bugatti Chiron is the most powerful, fastest and the most luxurious super sports car. Bugatti is set to build 500 examples over the next 10 years, with the black Chiron being one of the very first to be delivered to the UK.
Director of Romans International, Tom Jaconelli, said: “Although the Chiron is not yet sold out if you place an order today you will be waiting at least three or four years before the car could be built and delivered. So we are offering the chance to ‘jump the queue’ but of course, there is a hefty premium to pay for this privilege.”
The Surrey-based dealership has specialised in supercars for almost two decades. This year alone the dealership has sold a Maserati MC12 and two Ferrari LaFerraris – all of which have price tags approaching £3 million each!
Jaconelli continues, “We often see the world’s most beautiful and expensive cars in our showroom, but the Bugatti Chiron is the ultimate. It’s the most desirable car in the world today and we’re thrilled to have the first example openly for sale on the market.”
Would you be willing to pay the premium to by-pass the potential four-year waiting list?
