Nissan LEAF 2018 review
The Nissan LEAF has always been a car that divides opinion. Some love this fully electric vehicle for its bold engineering and surprisingly enjoyable driving dynamics, but to date, many other green-minded potential buyers have struggled to make a case for it. That could change thanks to the improvements made to this second-generation model, which offers a further big enhancement in driving range and some clever new technology.
Lexus NX 2018 review
Here, Lexus throws the kitchen sink at the mid-size luxury SUV sector, its improved NX zeroing in more closely on the Audi Q5 and BMW X3. The range now includes only the 2.5-litre NX 300t hybrid and is offered in either front or all-wheel drive. The sharper looks, and beautiful interior are sure to secure no shortage of orders and the improved safety system is a welcome addition.
Citroen C4 Cactus
Citroen has moved its C4 Cactus into the mainstream, this car now replacing the previous conventional C4 hatch as the French brand's offering in the Focus and Astra-dominated family hatchback sector. To suit its more conservative segment, the styling's been dialled down a bit but there are more comfortable seats and a clever suspension system to make this contender feel really Citroen-esque.
