Do Not Disturb When Driving - Apple iOS 11

Here at Money4yourMotors.com, we know how important road safety is, and using phones while driving is a big no no in our books, so something like a do not disturb while driving feature on a phone is a must…
Yesterday (June 5th) Apple announced their new iOS software update at the WWDC (Apple Worldwide Developers Conference) 2017, but one feature really stood out to me.
They’ve introduced a new feature called ‘Do Not Disturb While Driving’, it really does what it says on the tin. This setting will stop all, calls, texts, emails and all notifications from appearing on your phone, it will also send a text to whoever is trying to reach you, letting them know that you’re driving. Even though we all know it's wrong to use our phone while driving, sometimes it's easier said than done to not look.
Having a feature that will prevent drivers for using their mobile while on the road is something I believe should be on all phones not just iPhones, but at least Apple have taken the first steps, maybe others will follow?
The new iOS 11 update is available this autumn, you can find more information here.
