The new Web Developer job opportunity is perfect for anyone who is ambitious and keen to make their mark in web development.

This new addition to our rapidly growing team will help improve and update our existing technologies which will help develop the current business – continually driving it forward.

You will be working on developing new elements to a number of our websites and there will also be the opportunity to design, build and implement new Web APIs and new bespoke Apps.

This job is easily commutable from Liverpool, Wirral or Chester.

Your duties will involve:

  • Cross-platform responsive programming
  • App development
  • Developing and optimising SEO pages
  • Developing, testing and optimising landing pages
  • Producing HTML, CSS and JS components for the website
  • Creating engaging and functional features
  • Developing, prototyping & optimising existing & new features
  • Resolving cross-browser layout issues & bugs

You will need:

  • Thorough knowledge of responsive web design
  • Knowledge and understanding of C#, .Net, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ASP
  • Experience of working with Visual Studio
  • Good understanding and knowledge of UI/UX design
  • Thorough understanding of website functionality
  • Strong programming skills and a logical and creative approach to problem-solving
  • The ability to be comfortable working with other developers code
  • Functional knowledge of Web Services and content driven pages
  • Experience with SQL would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools would be an advantage but not essential

Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £23,000 to £30,000 per year depending upon experience
